Azienda Agricola Sassolive was founded in 2016 to care for our holiday homes, maintain the countryside of Alpicella, and cultivate our land with passion. Since 2014 we have used only natural and organic products for all treatments, and in 2017 we began the conversion to certified organic farming (Bioagricert). Our estate lies close to the sea on the Capo Berta promontory, between Imperia and Diano Marina: a peaceful, fully fenced property of almost seven hectares with olive trees, pines, cypresses, cedars, vines and fruit trees.
From around 1,200 olive trees on the hillside (about 200 m above sea level), we produce our own extra virgin organic olive oil – and we love welcoming guests who want to experience this unique corner of Liguria.
Behind Sassolive there is a small team with a big heart. We believe that a truly unforgettable stay is made from the little things: a warm welcome, a home that feels cared for, and the comforting feeling that someone is there if you need anything. That is why we do our very best, day and night, to make sure every guest feels relaxed, safe and genuinely at home from the very first moment.
Bianca is the soul and organizer of Sassolive. As the owner, she coordinates everything with great attention to detail, from reservations to the final touches that make each house feel special. She is supported by Elena, who welcomes guests with a smile and is always happy to help with questions, tips and local recommendations. Together, Bianca and Elena are your main contacts, ready to assist whenever something is needed.
And then there are Max and Christiano, the quiet heroes behind the scenes. With skill, dedication and a lot of pride, they look after the entire estate and the houses every day. They keep everything in perfect condition, lovingly maintaining the farm, the gardens and every small detail that makes the place feel so peaceful and beautiful.

Azienda Agricola Sassolive is more than a holiday place. On Alpicella Hill, our 11-hectare estate is home to three holiday houses, but at its heart it is an organic olive farm. Among ancient olive trees and Mediterranean nature, we work with great care, respect for the land, and a lot of hands-on dedication.
For six years, our farm has been organically certified by BioAgriCert, a strict and well-respected certification body. This means consistent standards, regular controls, and truly sustainable farming in harmony with the Ligurian landscape.
Our pride is our premium organic extra virgin olive oil, made from the famous Taggiasca olive. This variety is known worldwide for its elegance and fine taste: smooth, balanced, and aromatic, with gentle notes of almond, herbs, and Mediterranean freshness. It is an oil that enhances every dish without overpowering it.
